Well this song has been on my playlist for a number of days now, and that's because it is so fucking good!
The original definitely holds up it's name and Justice delivers, but A-trak remixing this tune just makes it ten time better!
If you want a song that feels like you are about to get fucked up then look no further! This one will make you want to get a few shots, pop some pills, and kiss your dog if you're lucky!
This makes me dance, jump in the air, and frolick around like a child with no restraints whatsoever.
Get it. Now.

Metallica - Wherever I May Roam (Pro7 remix)
Old school metal meets dubstep and electro.
What could go wrong?
Actually nothing to be exact! Unless of course you are some kind of metal elitist freak with satan's blood flowing through them that thinks there is no other kind of music other then metal, then yeah sure. Everything is wrong.
Truth be told this is actually quite pleasing to the ears, I just personally would have rather had more vocals in it as it does seem a little bland in some areas.
I would probably save this one for your own listening pleasure rather then playing it live, but hey it might just make those ex metal lovers (including myself) thrash like a bulldozer caught on a strip of concrete and trying to wiggle it's way out.
That sounded dirty.

NERVO - You're Gonna Love Again (Erotique Remix)
NERVO - You're Gonna Love Again (Erotique Remix)
Hey guys!
So I made a slight mess up yesterday and forgot to post a track...wow.
I heard this song right after I came home from watching The Bourne Legacy (great movie). This tune is produced very well, as we have all come to expect from Erotique and Nervo.
The progressive house melody really engages you to listen to the vocals. It mirrors it perfectly in such a fantastic and positive way.
This is most definitely a chick song, and by that I mean this: Let's say you just started out your set and everything is going fine, then some people start leaving to get drinks and they don't come back, they just sit at the bar. Well that's because you are playing tracks that are way too hard, and there is no woman on the dance-floor! If you wanna get the girls to dance, strategically place this song in your set.
Guaranteed booty shaking all song long!

Ashley Wallbridge - Vision (Original Mix)
I'm actually in a wicked awesome mood today so you guys get two music posts!
First and foremost, this is a trance track. It has such an old school 70's or even 80's vibe to it that I could probably show it to my mom and she wouldn't know the difference!
A friend of mine actually sent it my way. And I'll quote him directly, "it screams festival, outdoors, sunshine, love, hugs, everything that fetival is to me, is in that track." - DJ Essential
Listening to this song gives me the chills and raises the hair on the back of my neck up like a cold wintery day. But then again, shouldn't good music make your body hair do that on any given day?

Drone - Cycles [Version 1]
Drone - Cycles [Version 1]
I was sent this by drone a short while ago and let me tell you this tune goes hand in hand with the weather we are currently experiencing here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It's raining like you wouldn't believe so listening to nice relaxing "send you on a trip" music was definitely in order.
I'm writing as I listen to this, and the first thoughts that come to mind are 2 things:
1. It kind of sounds like a video-game, but then again it also sounds like you are venturing through a jungle in search of a rare artefact in a mayan ruin.
2. If you close your mind for a minute you can picture a fire and wood land creatures dancing around it. No I'm not on drugs, I just have an imaginative mind!
I would strongly recommend this to those that are having (or planning) to have a relaxing day. This is one of those tunes that you listen to when you want to think deep about life and just want to get away from society. I would like to call this Intelligent Electronic Music.
It will take you on a journey. I swear by it.

S.U.C.K - Odin ( Free Download )
S.U.C.K - Odin ( Free Download )
First thing I do when I get up in the morning is make my bed and then proceed to brush my teeth and wash my face. Let me just say that I decided to break this habit this morning and play a song at random on soundcloud, and oh boy boy breaking that habit felt good!
This tune is magnificently put together. It really has a thundering echo of a massive orchestra telling you a tale of ethereal / fantasy worlds with an invasion of alien's invading and murdering all those little elves and goblins on their homeworld.
Quite fantastic to listen to. I do see it being a little difficult to mix into a live set, but if you are a creative DJ then you will surely be able to figure out how to do it.
Go listen to it now!

Hard School - Fly Over The Sky (Taylor Thomas Remix)
Hard School - Fly Over The Sky (Taylor Thomas Remix)
I was definitely on the run today or else I would have posted this sooner, so sorry in advance!
All I can tell you, is that this song is quite wonderful! Has that progressive house melody / groove in it that gets all the boys and girls ready to get their freak on only to have their plans of freaking out to top 40 dance mangled by a dissonant, slightly sounding evil bassline that makes you feel like you should be rolling rather than driving down the freeway at 120.
Seriously though, this track is worth the buy, I'm all for underground artist's and music that people have never heard. Why? Because sometimes you get jems like this that truly let you know that you should be looking outside the beatport top 100 and finding music on your own. Plus it makes your sets much more exciting!
